The Hopesearch
For those suffering from suicidal thoughts, night can be the hardest time. It’s desolate. It’s dark. It can feel hopeless. And there’s nobody around to talk to. Friends and family are soundly asleep in bed.
It can feel like there is nobody to care. Nobody to listen.
No wonder between midnight and 4am is the time searches for suicide peak.
THE DISRUPTION\
Instead of just telling people how hard hope is to find, we made them look.
To launch PAPYRUS’s new 24/7 suicide phone line, HOPELINE247, we used stark night-time photography and a simple word search. Lost in the Zs of sleep, are all the words of support a suicidal person may be looking for at this time.
