Nemesis Reborn

Nemesis, one of the world’s first inverted rollercoasters, must close for a major revamp. How do we close it without causing outrage amongst fans and then build anticipation to its re-launch more than a year later?

We took the original plot of Nemesis from 1994 and gave it a twist.

Leveraging the inherent dangers of tampering with natural forces and our distrust of ‘authority’, we made our narrative more resonant for today. The Phalanx, originally the hero organisation that contained Nemesis, became our villain, with Nemesis their victim.

Nemesis Reborn

Following the closure of Nemesis in 2022, we pick the story up in March 2024 as we follow Percy, a night watchman at the Nemesis site. His mundane evening routine spirals into an extraordinary encounter as the once dormant Nemesis is reborn, unleashing her immense power, flipping him mercilessly around. We witness his journey from ‘naïve night watchman’, to a man boldly facing his fears, as he embraces the thrill of riding the exhilarating, terrifying, but ultimately rewarding rollercoaster that is Nemesis Reborn.
